First Email from Panama

I am in Panama, it is pretty cool. The food is good, nothing scary, we eat with members for lunch everyday and I really like the food. It is hotter and more humid than anything I have ever experienced here. My companion is Hermana Barralaga, she is from Honduras and doesn't speak much English. Needless to say my Spanish is improving very quickly.

Hermana Barralaga and Kara

We are teaching a lot of people, but the most promising as a awesome lady named Ivonne. She has 4 kids and is basically a golden investigator. She and her 9 year old son have a baptismal date for Oct 24, so we are helping her prepare. I am in a area called Bolivar City, it is just outside of Panama City and is a little residential area. It is very green and pretty and is basically a suburb with lots of houses. The people here speak incredibly fast and kind of slur everything together. I can understand everything for the most part, but it is very tiring to have to concentrate so hard all of the time.
